Olympus Tea began thanks to the passion of two locals for their birthplace and its mountain. Vasilis Reppas and Tasos Nikas were born and bred in the region, seeing sunlight at the same time as the shadow of Mount Olympus, in this blessed place, which lays between the white of the Olympus snow and the blue of the Aegean Sea! A few years ago, their curiosity and innate tendency to seek new ventures, saw the two friends transplanting alpine tea for experimental cultivation down in Litochoro town. The experiment succeeded and they soon planted in their own unique farm, exactly where the slopes of divine Mount Olympus begin. Experimental cultivation yielded the best possible fruit from the beginning, and so everything moved forward rapidly. Organic certification was the only option for them, because of their environmental awareness and desire for a product that would represent the Olympus and Greece all over the world.
